Meet Bunker Hill
Half-Way Motors Family Members Since 1991
Current Vehilces - Nissan Maxima  & Rogue

Bunker Hill has been a Half-Way Motors customer now for 17 years. During that time he has purchased 10 vehicles from us. Currently he is driving a 2007 Maxima and a 2008 Rogue.

Bunker keeps coming back because of how satisfed he is with our service. He says that he has experienced excellent customer relations and service in all areas of the dealership. As he puts it: "Visits are always a good experience!"

Another effort that keeps Bunker coming to Half-Way is our advertising initiatives. He says that the print and radio ads are a great way for him to stay on top of what is available at Half-Way Motors. He even says that our radio ads have had good resonance with his own customers!

Meet Nancy Milani
Half-Way Motors Family Members Since 2003
Current Vehicle - Nissan Xterra

Nancy Milani has been a Half-Way Motors customer for five years now. During that time they have had two Xterras; one lease, one purchased. One of the primary reasons for Nancy supporting Half-Way Motors is a reason that is very important to us: she appreciates the work we do in the community through the organizations that we support.

"They support a wide range of charitable organizations and local events to enhance the quality of life in Thunder Bay," she says. "John and his team always make me feel like I am important to them. That, combined with quality vehicles, is the reason why I will continue to be a Half-Way Motors customer for many years to come."

When asked what her best Half-Way Motors experience was, Nancy has a hard time coming up with just one anecdote. "The initial purchase of our Xterra with John, to the financing with Lois, to the great service with Shannon, Phil and Kevin. Everyone greets you with a smile and make you feel important. Thank you!" she states.

Meet Tiffany Miller
Half-Way Motors Family Members Since 2007
Current Vehicle - Nissan Versa Hatchback

Tiffany Miller is a new addition to the Half-Way Motors customer family. This past year she purchased a 2008 Nissan Versa in Blueberry. She was drawn to Half-Way for two primary reasons: personal relationships with staff members, and Nissan's reputation for quality.

"I originally purchased a vehicle at Halfway Motors because of the great personal relationships I have with multiple Half-Way Motor's staff members," says Miller. " But let this not mask that Nissan's reputation for making quality, reliable vehicles had alot to do with my decision"

Tiffany came to buy from us out of necessity. In November 2007 she was involved in a car accident on the highway that resulted in the vehicle she was driving being written off. Buying a new vehicle is supposed to be an exciting and happy time, however, for Tiffany, it started off filled with aprehension and anxiety due to her accident and not being prepared to have to buy a vehicle right then and there. However, it didn't take long for her to feel at ease.

"My best halfway experience, was the experience of purchasing this car," Tiffany says. "The staff at Halfway motors made the experience of buying my first car painless and exciting.  Not only were they accommodating to me while I was dealing with the insurance company and physiotherapy, but they lent me a vehicle while I waited for my new car to arrive. They were always friendly, patient and considerate."

Tiffany has now had her car for almost a year and has not had a single problem with it. She loves her car so much she declares herself as an impromptu spokesperson for the Versa.

"I think I sold a man on one at the gas station one day," Tiffany explains. "Furthermore the services is so good at Halfway, I can confidently say I will be a Nissan customer for llife."

 

Meet Bill Cella
Half-Way Motors Family Members Since 2006
Current Vehicle - Nissan Titan

Bill Cella is fairly new to the Half-Way Motors family, have been a customer now for two years. He currently owns a 2006 Nissan Titan. Bill originally came into our dealership because of the strong reputation of the Titan.

"I bought the Titan because it was highly rated by Consumers Guide," says Bill. And because he is also mechanically inclined, Bill knows what makes a good vehicle. He finds that the engine on the Titan to be "outstanding" as he put it.

Overall Bill has been very happy with his Half-Way experience to-date. "The service everywhere in the dealership is excellent," he says.

 

Meet Mario & Nancy Tegola
15 Years as Half-Way Motors Family Members
Current Vehicles - 2 Nissan Pathfinders

Mario and Nancy Tegola have been Half-Way Motors customers now for 14 years! Over that time they have bought four vehicles off us and currently drive a 2006 and 2000 Nissan Pathfinder.

The Tegola's have been coming back to Half-Way because, as they put it, the dependability of both product and staff and the excellent customer service that they have received over these past 14 years is second to no one.

One of the big things that separates Half-Way Motors from other shops is the attention to customer satisfaction. "When we bring our vehicles in for service, we don't have to wait long," says Tegola. "If we need to have the vehicles in for a few hours or a day, they give us another vehicle to drive as we depend on our vehicles in order to perform our jobs."

We always work hard to keep our customers happy and we're proud to include Mario and Nancy Tegola as part of our family. We hope we see them for at least another 14 years to come!

 

Meet Cecil Murancy

Current Vehicle - Nissan Altima

Cecil Murancy has been a customer of Half-Way Motors since 2002. He currently drives a 2008 Altima, but over the years has purchased three vehicles from us. Cecil keeps buying from us because of how satisfied the experience leaves him every time.

"I am 100 percent satsified with the appearance and performance of our vehicles," Cecil says. "We have also been totally satisifed with the service and purchase deals we have made," he goes on to say.

 

Meet Gen Kazak
Half-Way Motors Family Members Since 2008
Current Vehicle - Nissan Versa Hatchback

Gen Kazak is a very recent addition to our family, having had his car for less than a year now. Gen is a special case for Half-Way as he is located just outside of Toronto, in Hamilton. Gen needed a car after having been in an accident with his previous vehicle. Knowing one of the employees at Half-Way, we got in touch with him to determine what his needs were.

Despite the distance from Hamilton to Thunder Bay, the entire process was simple and quick. We talked with Gen about his needs, selected a vehicle (Versa), got him approved and couriered the paperwork to him for finalization. After we figured out shipping, we had his vehicle delivered to a dealership in Southern Ontario of his choosing, they did the delivery for us and it was just that easy!

Even though there was no actually in-store experience for Gen, his feedback has been positive all around. "Half-Way Motors were extremely helpful and made it very easy to get my new vehicle to me as quickly as possible," Kazak says. "They made the process pain free and I enjoyed dealing with them," he goes on to say.

So even though there's nearly 1,800km separating us, we're still very happy to have been able to help Gen and get him into a new vehicle. We've even been able to help after the sale with a service question Gen had for Shannon, our Service Manager.

Although we can't take care of his car from here on out, we still value Gen as an important part of the Half-Way Motors family and hope to meet many more of his vehicle needs in the years to come.

 

Meet Joe Speziale
Half-Way Motors Family Members Since 2008
Current Vehicle - Nissan Altima

Joe is a brand new customer of Half-Way Motors. He just recently purchased a 2008 Nissan Altima. He found the whole sales experience to be a very positive one.

"The purchase of the vehicle was a-one with no glitches or hidden costs," he said. "Sometimes those come up at the end and that's a pet peeve of mine, but not at Half-Way."

He also praised the sales staff for all the help in the purchasing process and afterwards. "I received assistance for all my concerns and questions. I received calls inquiring if everything was ok with the vehicle after the purchase," Joe said.

Joe loves how great the Altima is on gas and the comments he gets about it's good looks. It has left a very positive impression on him and leads him to give the biggest compliment about us he can:

Current Vehicle - Nissan Murano

Joe Arvonio has been a customer of Half-Way Motors since 2005. During that time he has purchased 2 vehicles with his most recent being the first 2009 Murano we got on our lot. It was the purchase of this vehicle that he highlights as a personal thrill. Joe was the first person in Thunder Bay to purchase the Murano which was extensively resdesigned for 2009.

There are three main reasons why Joe continues to be a customer of Half-Way motors. As he puts it we have, "good service, knowledgable staff and a good product."

Meet Ted Ciotucha

Current Vehicle - Ford F150

Ted Ciotucha has been a customer with us since 2003. He currently drives a Ford F-150 that he purchased from our pre-owned vehicles department. Ted has known John Trevisanutto for many years now and remains a Half-Way Motors customer because of the commitment to customer service he finds here.

Ted is also a local business owner, running Thunder Bay Harley Davidson and appreciates the policy that John has of buying local. John drives a Harley that he bought from Ted and that helped to make Ted think of Half-Way when it came time to purchase a vehicle.

Ted also appreciates the great work that is done by our service and body shops. He says Half-Way Motors, through the CARSTAR franchise that is part of the dealership family, "has a frist class modern body shop facility that provides an excellent quality of work. Add to that the speedy service that is provided and the approchability of John, and Half-Way is a great place to buy and service your vehicles from," says Ted.

Current Vehicle - Nissan Xtrail

Patty Hajdu has been a customer of Half-Way Motors since 2006. She currently owns a Nissan Xtrail. Her primary reasons for deciding to buy from us include the people that work here, and Half-Way's commitment to the community.

"I purchased my vehicle and continue to have it serviced from Half-Way largely because of the people," says Patty. "I have known John Trevisanutto for years and always admired his approach to business. I also respect the amount of time and resources he has contributed to the betterment of our community through his contribution to a variety of endeavours that include sporting, youth and health initiatives," says Patty.

As with many of our customers, Patty doesn't just single out one experience that makes her keep coming back to Half-Way. Instead, it is the entire effort put forth by our team that helps to keep our customers so loyal.

"I can't think of one particular experience as 'the best', but the consistency of the service impresses me every time," says Patty. "People go out of their way to be friendly and helpful."

Current Vehicles - Nissan Versa Hatchback  & Nissan Xterra

Fred and Mary Ann Kens have been Half-Way Motors customers since 2006. In that time they have bought two vehicles from us, with the Versa being the most recent. Prior to that they purchased a 2006 Xterra.

The Kens enjoy their Half-Way experience because of how well they get along with the staff, and "especially Olga," says Fred! They have bought from us because they said they did not feel pressured to close the deal and we offered them the best price in town when comparing similar vehicles at other dealerships.

 

Meet Janice Henderson
Half-Way Motors Family Members Since 2007
Current Vehicle - Nissan Murano

Janice Henderson has been a customer with Half-Way Motors since early 2007. She purchased a 2003 Nissan Murano from our pre-owned inventory. It was her first vehicle from us. She came to us out necessity, needing a new car and liking what she had seen about the Muranos. She arrived at the dealership, deal with our Sale Consultant Olga Veselova, and made an offer based on what she was willing to pay for a cross-over SUV and it was accepted.

"Olga, my sales rep, has always been friendly and has offered to help whenever I might need assistance," Janice says. She goes on to say that the vehicle has matched her needs and that she's happy with her choice. Additionally, Janice has also been very satisfied with our Service Department now that she brings her vehicle to us for servicing.

"The front desk Service Department trio have been very helpful, courteous and obliging anytime I've needed their help or advice," says Janice.

 

Meet Frank & Maria Pedulla
Half-Way Motors Family Members Since 2001
Current Vehicles - Nissan Maxima, Frontier, Versa Hatchback

Frank and Maria Pedulla have been Half-Way Motors customers for seven years now. During that time they have purchased eight vehicles from us. Currently they own a Nissan Maxima, Frontier and Versa Hatchback.

"We buy our vehicles from Half-Way due to the service, honesty and value," say the Pedullas. In fact, they go on to say that they don't just feel like regular customers when they come into the show room or service department, but instead feel as if they are, "part of the family."

"Every time we've come to the dealership all the staff and John Trevisanutto have been helpful, friendly and accommodating," say the Pedullas.

Diane Delin has been a Half-Way Motors customer since 2004. In that time she has purchased two vehicles from us and is currently driving a Nissan Pathfinder.

Diane originally came to us looking for a vehicle after a recommendation by a friend. While that got her in the door, she said it was the, "very good service," which has her continuing to come back to us for service and all her vehicle needs. Diane says that all her experience with Half-Way Motors thus far have been positive, whether she has been dealing with the sales staff or the crew in service.

 

Meet Steve Wedow

Current Vehicle - Nissan Frontier

Steve Wedow is another new addition to the Half-Way Motors family. Steve just recently bought a 2008 Nissan Frontier LE from us. He says the happiest moment came when we gave him the keys to his new vehicle and he got to drive off in it.

We take great pride in offering excellent customer service and it's customers like Steve that help show us we are on the right path. "The staff were friendly and knowledgeable in all areas of customers service," says Steve.

Current Vehicle - Nissan Xterra

Kari Miller has been a Half-Way Motors customer since 2006. She is currently the owner of a 2006 Nissan Xterra, which is the first vehicle she has bought from us. Kari says that her most positive experience at Half-Way has been dealing with Lois Pearl, our Business and Finance Manager.

Vera Gallagher has been a part of the Half-Way family for almost five years now. In that time she has bought two Sentras off us and is currently driving a 2008 Nissan Sentra.

She chose another Sentra because as she put it, "my previous Sentra proved to be a very reliable vehicle." She has also been very impressed with the customer service she has experience during her time as our customer, which is another reason why Vera continues to be a Half-Way customer.

Current Vehicle - Nissan Sentra

Amanda Gittings is another new Half-Way family member, referred to us by her father, Dave. It was this advice to give us a shot to find a solution for her driving needs that brought Amanda into our show room. She ended up leaving with a 2008 Nissan Sentra and says after her purchase experience that here dad gave her, "good advice!" A large part of this is due to what Amanda says was a great experience dealing with our sales staff. "They provided me with good customer care and service," says Amanda.
