John Trevisanutto

John has been involved in Half-Way Motors his entire life, originally working under his father, John Sr., and then purchasing and running the dealership from his mother in 1989. During that time John, with the help of many long-standing staff, has helped grow the dealership far beyond its original roots as a small grocery store, then Studebaker dealership and eventually Datsun/Nissan.
At the core of John’s belief for Half-Way Motors is customer service and giving back to the community that supports the dealership. John has helped numerous organizations over the years, with a particular focus on health awareness and research, youth activities and helping those that are less fortunate. He has also helped create his own charitable event, Motors and Muscles, an event that occurs at the end of August with all proceeds going to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Science Foundation.
John is married to Barbara Trevisanutto, and they have five children; Nadia, Paul, Patrick, Daniel and Michael. John is an avid motorcycle rider, have toured most parts of North America on his bike. Even after all these years he still has a passion for cars in all forms, attending auto shows and racing, and is working on a collection of vintage Datsuns.

Rob has been with Half-Way Motors since March, 2004. Rob enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter and shitzu (Lola). His hobbies include, camping, fishing, gardening, hunting and skiing.

Marcus Luft

Marcus has been with Half-Way Motors since December, 2007. He is a graduate of Ryerson University with a Bachelor of Journalism and from the University of Liverpool with a Masters in Business Administration. He is also OMVIC certified.
Marcus performs a variety of tasks around the dealership for all departments. His primary focus, however, is managing the accounts for the Half-Way Motors CARSTAR Collision Centre and performing marketing and business development operations for the dealership as a whole.
Marcus is married to Nadia Trevisanutto-Luft. In his spare time Marcus enjoys golfing, camping, biking and various other outdoor activities. He is also a member of the Thunder Bay Executives, representing both Half-Way Motors and Carstar Collision Centre and he sits on the Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce's Economic Development Committee.

Catherine Sharp

Catherine has been with Half-Way Motors since the summer of 2008. She has one daughter, Anne and makes family a priority.
She enjoys visiting other family members and working on updating the Sharp family tree. Catherine also likes to walk her dog, Yoda, read, garden, landscape, renovate the house and do needlecrafts.

Kathryn Kempton

Kathryn has been with Half-Way Motors since November, 2004. Kathryn is married to Ralph Kempton, and has two daughters, Karilyn and Krystin. Kathryn is certified in the Wye Management, Sales Management and Sales Process. She is also a Zenger Miller Facilitator along with having her OMVIC certification. Kathryn also takes part in ongoing business training via Lakehead University courses.
Within the community, Kathryn is involved with both Lakehead Rotary and Thunder Bay Executives. Her hobbies include skiing, gardening, cooking and traveling.

Lois has been with Half-Way Motors since December, 2003. Lois is a certified Wye Management Professional. She has also taken part in Advanced Business Manager programs and Advanced Merchandising and Design. Lois takes part in the Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce. Lois is also OMVIC certified. Her hobbies include yoga, landscaping, power walking and doing her own home improvements.

Ty has been with Half-Way Motors since May of 2008 and has been a life-long Thunder Bay resident. Prior to Half-Way Motors, Ty worked for Home Depot as a flooring specialist.
He and his wife Crystal, have two sons. In his spare time, Ty, enjoys home renovation and being outdoors with his family.

Nadia Trevisanutto-Luft joined Half-Way Motors in a full-time capacity as Sales & Leasing Consultant in Janury of 2009, after many years of part-time work in various departments. She is married to Marcus Luft.
Nadia is a graduate of the Lakehead University Bachelor of Education program. Additionally, she has a diploma in Automotive Marketing from the Canadian Automotive Institute at Georgian College and a degree in Automotive Marketing & Management from Northwood University in Midland Michigan.
In her spare time Nadia enjoys dancing, reading and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys waitressing at the Caribou Restaurant and Wine Bar in the evenings.

Carol Perrier

Carol has been with Half-Way Motors since March, 2007. She is married to Lawrence Perrier and has three children. Carol is trained in office administration, reception and book keeping, both in traditional office settings and medical administration and reception.
She is involved in the community by helping the elderly by cleanings houses and providing care. Carol’s hobbies include watercolour painting, fishing and hunting.

Shannon has been with Half-Way Motors since February, 2003. She is married to David Peppard and they have two daughters, Summer and Rachel.
Shannon is involved with the Girl Guides, school fundraisers for her daughters and is a committee member on the Gated Horsed Association. In her spare time, Shannon likes to go for hikes, camping, spend time with her family and friends and go horse back riding. |

Nick has been with Half-Way Motors since April, 2002. Nick and his wife, Courtney, have two children, Emilie and Nathan. Nick is a graduate of Confederation College and is certified as both a Class A Technician and a Nissan Senior Technician along with being qualified on advanced transmission repair.
Nick is a member of the Hope Christian Reformed Church. In his spare time he likes to spend time outdoors taking part in activities such as camping, fishing and snowmobiling. He also enjoys working on various motorized vehicles and spending time with his family.

Bob has been with Half-Way Motors since November, 1985. He is married to Donna and they have two children, Jessica and Krystina. Bob has a Business Administration, Advanced Diploma and is a licensed technician in autobody repair and refinishing.
Bob is active in the community, being a member of the Thunder Bay HOG (Harley Owners Group), Thunder Bay Executives and Thunder Bay Insurance Association. He is also involved in numerous charity events around the city.
Outside of work, Bob is interested in both cars and the automotive industry as a whole, motorcycles, traveling, boating and fishing and spending time with his family. |
Joe Paladino

Joe has been with Half-Way Motors since May, 2007. He is a college graduate having studied at a trade school to become a mechanic. He is involved in the community at the Italian Hall, assisting with the festivals put on there, along with helping out yearly with the Soap’s It Up Car Wash benefit put on by Carstar to benefit cystic fibrosis research.
Outside of work, Joe enjoys riding and racing his motorcycle, fishing and camping.
