The ceremonial dig takes place at the foot of the open pit. The hole behind is the footprint of the new dealership.

It was also the awarding of our 40 + 1 year plaque. 2008 was the 40th year that Half-Way Motors was a Nissan dealer (Datsun before the name change). From left to right: Denis Belzile, John Trevisanutto, Bruno Niederer, Jason Legere

There was also a cake celebrating our 40 years as a dealer.

The staff also surprised John with a special commerative shovel for the ground breaking.
|
|
Our paint shop painted the shovel all white and the staff each signed it. The red sticker at the bottom says Ground Break May 2009. Look for it hanging on the wall of John's new office once the building is complete.
